Easter 2012

Well, it was my turn again this year. I love hosting Easter! Such a lovely time of year. I opted for a dainty setting using my mother's china teacups that matched the plates. I stuck 'wet' floral foam inside, poked some holes and put the tulips in...soooo pretty.

The butterflies on the place setting were to be place holders. Less people than expected arrived so we opted to just sit wherever. These little butterflies are magnetic and a takeaway for all my guests when they left.

These eggs were from an idea I saw on Pinterest.  In the example I saw, the eggs were beautiful pastel colours.  As you can see mine were a BIT more vibrant.  Well, I learned a lot creating them!  Less colour in the water and LESS time in the water.  (You peel the eggs, take out the yolks and then drop them in the food colouring, water mixture)
