Well, here I am, staring at my computer wondering where to begin...what to share with you all. I think I will start with visual displays that I have created that reflect a lot of wonderful learning that has gone on in the classroom. I know as a teacher I am always looking for creative ways to display work and try new things. So here it goes... I hope you like it!
The Bat Cave |
These photos were taken in 2006 when I was teaching a group of gifted first graders. We were studying bats and other nocturnal things! And of course, Stellaluna!
I created a 'Bat Cave' at the entance to our classroom-the students were so excited! Each student then looked at bats and the shapes of their wings and created a bat to hang upside down in the cave. We glued these onto clothespins for easy hanging.
